The Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Dept at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital has met the criteria for The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Program Recertification. Original Certification was awarded in 2003, with recertification every 3 years. Certification ensures that routine and emergency processes, staff competencies, patient education and care routines, and documentation processes meet the high standards set by AACVPR. Certification is one measure of the excellent care provided to their patients by the Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation RNs and Exercise Physiologists.
