Wanda Gibbons has joined the leadership team as the Chief Nursing Officer for the Methodist Hospital.
Wanda has spent the past eight years as the Chief Nursing Officer at Baptist Health System in Knoxville, TN, and St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. Most recently, Wanda served as a Senior Consultant with Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL, where she was responsible for the successful launch of the Operational Performance Improvement Department to support Baptist’s five hospital system. Wanda will be returning to Texas where she served as a Vice President for the Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX from 1988 to 1999.
Wanda earned her BSN from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Masters of Healthcare Administration from Duke University and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. Additionally, Wanda earned her Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma.
